His interest in carbon and ecological footprinting analysis to inspire behavioral change is reflected in a recent publication in the journal Sustainable Development and in his work with the Centre for Air Transport and the Environment and Manchester Airport in developing the airportfootprints' Airport System model. |

Professor Callum Thomas
PhD, BSc (hons), ARCS (Business Development and Sectoral Liaison Director) Callum holds the post of Chair of Sustainable Aviation at Manchester Metropolitan University and is a director of the Centre for Air Transport and the Environment . Prior to joining MMU, Callum set up and was head of Manchester Airport's Environment Programme. He has represented the Manchester Airports Group on the Airports Council International (ACI) WORLD Environment Standing Committee and ACI EUROPE Environmental Strategy Committee. Callum is a member of the Supervisory Board of the ABTA Reduce My Footprint initiative, designed to encourage travellers to offset the Climate Change impacts of their flights. Callum has been an advisor to the UK Government, the European Commission, the World Economic Forum and the Airports Council International on aviation and environmental / sustainability issues. |

Dr Jonathan Bailey PhD, BSc (hons) (Business Development and External Affairs Director) With over 20 years experience in the aviation industry, most recently as Group External Affairs Director for the Manchester Airports Group (MAG), Jonathan provides commercial and external affairs expertise for airportfootprints Jonathan has in-depth knowledge of the airports business, having joined MAG (the UK's second largest airport company) in 2002, where he is responsible for all aspects of aviation policy, regulation, government relations and media relations. He has previously held senior government affairs and commercial roles in the UK and overseas with Emirates, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways. With extensive commercial and stakeholder relations expertise, Jonathan is well placed to help airportfootprints' customers maximise the benefits of their investment in Carbon and Ecological Footprinting. |

Roger Gardner (Government Liaison Director) Roger is Chief Executive of the Omega academic Knowledge Transfer Partnership on aviation sustainability, based out of Manchester Metropolitan University. Omega started in January 2007 involving 9 universities and a wide range of stakeholders Roger brings regulatory and international policy development experience as well as leadership in delivering knowledge to tackle key environmental challenges facing the sector. He previously headed up work in the UK Department for Transport on airport air
quality and environmental technology. Roger has 20 years experience in aviation during which time he has also worked for Defence Evaluation Research Agency and QinetiQ on aviation environmental research management and emissions technical issues. |
